Role overview
General Accountant role combining accounting work with support for the administrative manager as needed.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile company expenses, owners' personal expenses and investments, and bank accounts.
- Prepare and distribute employee payroll; prepare client and supplier invoices and receipts.
- Collect and issue cheques.
- Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare material inventory records and maintain bookkeeping.
- Assist the administrative manager with tasks when required.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
- At least 3 years of experience is stated; the posting also specifies 4 years of accounting experience and 3 years of auditing experience as required.
- Solid knowledge of auditing and financial statement preparation is required.
- Proficiency in accounting and auditing ERP, design-related programs, and other software is requested.
- English proficiency is preferred; Dubai-based candidates are preferred.
