Overview
We are looking for a GCC Non-Executive Director / Strategic Advisor for LaserGT.
LaserGT is building an industrial laser technology platform for drydock, offshore, maritime and heavy industry.
Our focus is not selling laser machines.
We help industrial customers reduce the cost layer around surface preparation, blasting, UHP waterjetting, grinding, chemical treatment and welding rework.
LaserGT works with two commercial tracks:
Laser Surface Preparation
For rust, coating and paint removal on selected drydock, ship repair, offshore and industrial maintenance scopes.
Gas-Free Laser Welding
For selected workshop, fabrication and repair applications where lower heat input, less distortion, less grinding and cleaner execution matter.
We are now looking for a senior GCC-based advisor who can support market entry, strategic customer access and regional deployment.
The right person should have strong experience from one or more of the following:
Drydocks and shipyards
Offshore and marine services
Oil and gas maintenance
Industrial services
Strategic partnerships
Family offices or private capital
GCC business development
Maritime and heavy industry
This is not a full-time employment role at this stage.
We are looking for a performance-driven Non-Executive Director / Strategic Advisor who can help us open real doors, validate the right market approach and support qualified customer, partner and investor discussions.
Key Responsibilities
Introduce LaserGT to relevant drydock, shipyard, offshore and industrial decision-makers
Support GCC market entry strategy
Advise on local partner or JV structure
Support investor and strategic capital conversations
Help identify suitable first projects and demonstration scopes
Provide regional credibility and market insight
Challenge the strategy where needed
We are not looking for name-dropping.
We are looking for a serious person who can help create real market entry, real meetings, real projects and real revenue.
The preferred structure is performance-based, with a clear 90-day mandate and defined commercial objectives.
