Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Game Developer to work on a contractor basis.

The successful candidate will design and develop high-performance, real-time applications using game engines and technologies such as DirectX (DX11 and DX12), Vulkan, OpenGL, or similar APIs.

This role involves working on graphics systems, rendering pipelines, and low-level optimizations to build game tools and modding systems.

The game development industry is rapidly evolving, and this role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop game systems and engine-level features using C++ and game engines
  • Develop tools and modding related to games, focusing on rendering pipelines, shaders, and real-time graphics systems
  • Optimize performance across CPU/GPU, memory, and rendering workloads to ensure smooth gaming experiences
  • Build and extend tools, pipelines, and engine systems to support game development, collaborating with designers, artists, and engineers
  • Deliver high-quality experiences by working closely with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in game development, including graphics programming, and experience with game engines such as Unreal Engine
  • Proficiency in C++ and familiarity with DirectX (DX11 and DX12), Vulkan, or OpenGL APIs
  • Excellent understanding of rendering pipelines, shaders, and real-time graphics systems
  • Experience with low-level optimizations and performance tuning for games
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work with designers, artists, and engineers to deliver high-quality experiences
