Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret drawings, sketches, and furniture designs.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials accurately.
- Assemble furniture such as cabinets, tables, chairs, wardrobes, beds, and shelves.
- Operate woodworking machines and hand tools safely.
- Repair damaged furniture and replace defective parts.
- Apply finishes such as varnish, paint, laminate, or polish.
- Inspect completed furniture for quality and durability.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working area.
- Follow workplace safety standards and company procedures.
- Coordinate with supervisors, designers, or clients when required.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of woodworking techniques and furniture construction.
- Ability to use carpentry tools and machinery.
- Good measuring and mathematical skills.
- Attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
- Physical strength and stamina.
- Problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per hour
