Role overview
A broad fund accounting role within a growing funds management business, spanning fund operations, investor servicing and fund administration.
The position provides exposure to multiple asset classes and investment strategies, with opportunities to develop technical funds knowledge and stakeholder management skills.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with fund accounting and reporting, including month-end, quarter-end and year-end deliverables.
- Support NAV reporting, reconciliations, cash management and fund administration processes.
- Coordinate investor onboarding and maintain investor records.
- Conduct KYC, AML, FATCA and other compliance-related checks as required.
- Respond to investor and adviser enquiries and resolve requests promptly.
- Process investor applications, redemptions and transfers.
- Help prepare and distribute investor reports, statements and communications.
- Liaise with fund administrators, custodians, auditors and external service providers.
- Assist with financial statements, audit requests and regulatory reporting.
- Contribute to process improvements for operational efficiency and investor experience.
- Maintain accurate internal system data and support ad hoc reporting for senior stakeholders.
Candidate requirements
- 2–5 years' experience in fund accounting, fund administration, investor services, registry, operations or a related financial services environment.
- Exposure to investment funds and an understanding of fund structures.
- Familiarity with investor onboarding, KYC and AML processes is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive, collaborative and eager to broaden funds management industry exposure.
