About This Role

Requirements:

• Functional Medicine Physician Residency – 3 Years (Mandatory) / Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• MBBS with Functional Medicine Certification (Preferred)
• Functional Medicine Training (Mandatory)
• Health License from Country of Origin (Mandatory)
• QCHP License, Dataflow Qatar, Prometric Exam (Preferred)
• Arabic & English (Preferred)
• Female Candidates Preferred

Key Responsibilities – Functional Medicine Physician

• Provide chronic disease care using a Functional Medicine approach through patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning to improve overall quality of life
• Identify and address the root causes of diseases rather than only treating symptoms
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and medical history
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and clinical team regarding patient care, assessments, and educational guidance
• Educate patients and families on wellness, preventive care, and early disease detection
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient care programs, and continuous medical education as required by the clinic
• Supervise and guide mid-level medical and nursing staff, delegating responsibilities appropriately
• Assist in resolving patient complaints, concerns, and service inquiries professionally
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient records in compliance with country regulations and medical ethics
• Present monthly case studies to support clinical education and team training
• Ensure all patient documentation, charting, and dictation are completed accurately on the day of consultation
• Ensure accurate medical coding and documentation for each patient encounter
• Represent the clinic and Functional Medicine services through community awareness and educational programs
• Demonstrate professionalism, patient-first values, strong decision-making skills, creativity, and adaptability
• Follow all organizational policies, procedures, and clinical protocols
• Provide mentoring and coaching to nutritionists, health coaches, and other clinical staff

Pay: QAR50,000.00 - QAR55,000.00 per month
