- Open Mind Health (OMH) is expanding and actively recruiting fully licensed California therapists (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or licensed Psychologist [PsyD/PhD]) with experience supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, mood concerns, stress, burnout, emotional regulation challenges, and major life transitions .
- This is a 100% remote telehealth opportunity offering $70–$80/hour, flexible scheduling, and a minimum commitment of 20 hours of recurring weekly availability.
- Applicants may reside outside California. Active, unrestricted California clinical licensure is required , as this position serves clients located in California. We are not currently accepting associate-level applicants for this role.

What You'll Do
Provide virtual psychotherapy to California clients experiencing anxiety, depression, mood concerns, chronic stress, burnout, and life transitions
Assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on presenting concerns and treatment goals
Utilize evidence-guided therapeutic approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT-informed interventions, mindfulness-based strategies, and other appropriate modalities
Help clients develop coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, resilience, and tools for managing anxiety and depressive symptoms
Deliver culturally responsive, client-centered care tailored to each client's experiences, background, and goals
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
Collaborate with the broader care team as appropriate
Practice within applicable professional, licensing, ethical, and regulatory requirements
Flexible Remote Practice
100% remote
Minimum commitment of 20 hours of recurring weekly availability
Flexible scheduling, with the option to offer early morning, evening, and/or weekend availability based on your preferences
Practice Support
Focus more of your time on clinical care with support from OMH, including:
Established referral network
Billing support
Administrative resources
Telehealth technology infrastructure

Work with diverse client populations while delivering personalized, evidence-based care that creates lasting change.

Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted California license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or licensed Psychologist (PsyD/PhD)
- Strong clinical assessment and psychotherapy skills
- Experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, mood concerns, stress, and/or related mental health needs
- Commitment to evidence-based and evidence-guided care
- Comfortable using technology and telehealth platforms
- Passion for providing culturally responsive, client-centered care
- Ability to maintain a minimum of 20 hours of recurring weekly availability
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience treating anxiety disorders and depressive disorders
- Experience with CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness-based interventions, or other evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Experience supporting clients with stress, burnout, emotional regulation, and major life transitions
- Telehealth experience
- Licensure in multiple states
- Membership in Social Work, Counseling, MFT, or PSYPACT compacts, where applicable
- Additional language proficiency (Spanish is highly desirable)
- Experience working with diverse or underserved populations
Compensation & Engagement Type
- $70–$80/hour
- 1099 Independent Contractor
- Compensation within the posted range is based on relevant clinical expertise, years of experience, and licensure.
