Full Time Client Service Representative
Role Overview
As the first point of contact for our clients, the Veterinary Customer Service Representative plays a critical role in creating a welcoming and supportive experience for both pets and their owners. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, personable, dependable, and comfortable multitasking in a busy veterinary environment.
Some of the responsibilities you'll own:
Provide friendly, high-quality customer service to clients and patients
Process invoices and payments accurately
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and obtain necessary medical histories
Determine patient immunization and testing status
Communicate with veterinarians and veterinary technicians regarding patient arrivals and recommended treatments
Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter products as directed by a veterinarian
Accurately enter and maintain client and patient information in veterinary practice software
Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to keep patient flow moving efficiently
Take on additional responsibilities as hospital policies, procedures, and needs evolve
What we're looking for:
Veterinary reception or veterinary client service experience preferred
AVImark experience strongly preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong customer service and communication skills
Team-oriented approach and strong work ethic
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy or stressful environment
Weekend availability as needed
Ability to lift 30–50 pounds
