Full Stack Software Engineer Analyst

Role overview

Application engineering

• Architect, implement, and maintain responsive, high-performance web and mobile applications.
• Build reusable front-end components with Angular or React and modern HTML/CSS frameworks.
• Build resilient, scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot microservices.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs, asynchronous event streams, and database integrations.

Testing and quality

• Create and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end test scripts and frameworks.
• Use tools such as Selenium, Playwright, JUnit, Mockito, or Jest for test automation.
• Perform hands-on functional, regression, API, and performance testing.
• Partner with QA and DevOps to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Security and operations

• Use secure and defensive coding practices; identify, prevent, and remediate vulnerabilities, including OWASP Top 10 and CWE risks.
• Implement authentication and authorization with OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT, plus data sanitization and secure communications.
• Use Splunk, distributed tracing, and APM tools to monitor systems and troubleshoot production incidents.
• Support scheduled weekend deployment windows and release validations; verify deployments, conduct root-cause analysis, and improve runbooks.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, QA Analysts, and Solutions Architects in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Contribute to code reviews, mentoring, and technical knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in an Apps Development role with demonstrated execution capabilities.
• Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; data-driven and results-oriented.
• Experience running high-traffic, distributed, cloud-based services.
• Experience affecting large culture change, leading infrastructure programs, and working with third-party service providers.

Preferred qualifications

• Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift experience is preferred.
• CI/CD automation tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Harness, or Tekton are preferred.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure and Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ is preferred.
• Hybrid or native mobile development and BDD or TDD knowledge are preferred.
