Full Stack Software Engineer - Agentic AI

About the Role

Workplace and Schedule

• The position is based at the company's Sydney office and requires five days onsite.
• The team works in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with rapid ideation and iteration.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end features for the SuperNinja web application.
• Improve application performance and user experience.
• Maintain platform and API documentation.
• Develop well-documented code in React, Next.js, and Python.
• Use automated testing and continuous integration and deployment to maintain code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot platform issues.
• Collaborate with product management on requirements and technical feasibility.
• Use RESTful APIs and WebSockets for backend communication.
• Unit-test code for robustness, edge cases, usability, and reliability.
• Evaluate and implement technologies that improve development efficiency.

Required Experience

• At least 1 year of software development experience focused on scalable and reliable web applications.
• Comfort working across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Professional experience in at least one of Python, React, Node.js, or Next.js, with curiosity to learn the others.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and databases is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Startup experience or experience shipping in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
• End-to-end personal projects, open-source work, or hackathon experience.
• Experience with TypeScript, WebSockets, CI/CD pipelines, or service-oriented architectures.
• Interest in AI/ML and large language models.

Compensation
