Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complex modules, frameworks, microservices, and scalable Unified Reporting pipelines.
• Set coding, testing, debugging, refactoring, CI/CD, review, and code-quality standards.
• Lead a globally distributed agile team; own sprint planning, backlog grooming, estimation, capacity planning, and delivery.
• Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and user stories; manage delivery risks and release milestones.
• Integrate Oracle 19c and MongoDB; implement REST microservices, Kafka or IBM MQ messaging, and Spring batch frameworks.
• Modernize interfaces with Angular, React.js, TypeScript, and micro-frontend patterns.
• Provide L3 production support, root-cause analysis, monitoring, and reliability coordination.
• Mentor developers and QA engineers; support secure SDLC, vulnerability remediation, access controls, and audit readiness.

Required qualifications

• 6–10 years of professional software engineering and application development experience.
• Hands-on Core Java and Spring ecosystem expertise; modern web technology experience.
• SQL/PL-SQL, Oracle 19c, MongoDB, CI/CD, containerization, Git, TDD, BDD, and automated testing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Desirable qualifications

• Financial services, banking, capital markets, or securities services experience is desirable.
• Familiarity with SWIFT ISO 15022/20022 or FIX is desirable.
• Master’s degree is preferred.

Compensation

• The posting lists a full-time salary range of $120,800 to $170,800 without specifying a pay cadence.
