Overview

• Full Stack Engineer – 3D & Computational Geometry (AI Products)
• We’re supporting a leading technology company in Abu Dhabi that’s building AI-native products where 3D understanding is central to the user experience.
• This isn’t a standard “full stack” role with a bit of AI bolted on the product is designed around intelligent workflows, and you’ll be engineering the platform that lets AI reason over 3D models at scale.
• If you’re the kind of engineer who enjoys turning complex data (meshes, geometry, spatial relationships) into fast, reliable, usable applications and you want to work close to AI/ML teams shipping real features this is a strong opportunity.
• The role As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll own end-to-end development of web applications that ingest, process, and serve 3D mesh and geometry data, and expose that capability through modern UI experiences and robust APIs.
• You’ll work alongside AI/ML teams to integrate language-model-driven features that help users interrogate, understand, and interact with 3D models in smarter ways.
• You’ll also play a key role in engineering quality: architecture decisions, performance optimisation, security, testing, and CI/CD discipline.
• What you’ll be doing
• Building scalable full stack applications that power AI-driven experiences on top of 3D data
• Developing interactive front ends (React / Next.js / Vue.js) that make complex 3D workflows feel simple
• Implementing backend services and APIs (Python is primary; FastAPI/Flask; Node.js where needed)
• Working with language models to enable reasoning and interaction over 3D models
• Designing and optimising geometry/mesh processing pipelines (vertices, faces, normals, spatial indices)
• Collaborating with AI/ML teams to productionise intelligent features (latency, reliability, observability)
• Improving performance, security, and maintainability across the stack
• Driving code reviews, best practices, and clean architecture standards
• Strengthening CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment pipelines for safe, frequent releases
• What we’re looking for
• 3+ years’ experience in full stack engineering, with strong backend depth
• Strong Python skills (core language for geometry + compute)
• Proven experience working with 3D mesh data: loading, processing, transforming, querying geometry
• Familiarity with at least one geometry/mesh library (trimesh, Open3D, PyMesh, pythonOCC, CGAL, or similar)
• Strong API fundamentals: REST, WebSockets, authentication (OAuth2, JWT)
• Database experience (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Cloud + containerisation experience (AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: clean architecture, testing, async patterns, DevOps practices
• Comfortable working in product-focused teams where AI capabilities are part of the core roadmap
• Nice to have (strong plus)
• IFC / IfcOpenShell experience (parsing, traversal, property extraction) and/or BIM/AEC workflow exposure
• Computational geometry/topological operations (boolean ops, convex hulls, CSG, spatial decomposition)
• 3D web rendering exposure (Three.js, Babylon.js)
• Experience treating scheduling/cost data (Primavera P6, Procore) as structured data problems
• Microservices architecture, SSR/SSG experience
