Full-stack Engineer 4 (Manager, IC)

Role Overview

What You'll Do

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions.
• Use languages including Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Work with RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
• Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and set engineering standards.
• Partner with architects on service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.
• Implement refactoring that reduces technical debt and improves system performance.
• Influence technology strategy through evaluation of emerging tools and practices.
• Mentor engineers and participate in technology communities.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• At least 4 years of software engineering experience, excluding internship experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years coding with more than two listed programming languages.
• Experience with databases, cloud platforms, APIs, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, and Git-based version control.
• Experience troubleshooting cloud issues, using AI coding tools, observability, mentoring, and leading engineering initiatives.
• Experience establishing coding standards and design patterns across teams.

Compensation

• New York annual salary range is $215,200 to $245,600.
• The role may receive performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses or long-term incentives.
