Full Stack Developer

Role overview

Application and systems delivery

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable core business applications, application servers, associated hardware, endpoints, APIs, and databases.
• Perform information-system design, implementation, and upgrades to meet business and user needs.
• Implement practices for scalability, supportability, maintainability, and system performance.
• Address security requirements and potential vulnerabilities; define testing procedures and develop quality assurance test cases.
• Liaise with external suppliers to secure IT products and services.

Data and pipelines

• Develop data and CI/CD pipelines with Infrastructure and Security.
• Develop data models for business intelligence and reporting and create informative dashboards.
• Integrate data from multiple sources and implement transformation and cleansing processes.
• Work with relational databases, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity and security.

Support and maintenance

• Investigate complex application-development and data-analytics issues and provide timely production support.
• Assist, support, and train end users; troubleshoot application-related issues and document processes.
• Develop maintenance procedures, monitor system health, gather statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors and alarms.
• Research current IT practices, particularly systems administration and management, and recommend actions.

Experience and education

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer systems, or electronics and telecommunication.
• At least five years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing business applications end to end.
• Strong experience in DevSecOps and application development with .NET (Core, MVC, WebForms), C#, React, Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform, and Microsoft SQL Server.

Cloud and data qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure PaaS, IaaS, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on cloud deployment experience with Kubernetes, Azure Function Apps, Logic Apps, and Docker containers.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, including pipelines, dataflows, and Eventhouse.
• Hybrid mobile application development experience is required for mobile development; Flutter is preferred.

Additional advantageous experience

• JavaScript, Python, and Node.js experience is advantageous.
• Exposure to MySQL and PostgreSQL and familiarity with PHP frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter are advantageous.
