Position: Full-Stack Developer (MERN)
Location: to be assigned in our Sharjah Head office
Job Summary
We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer (MERN) to build and maintain modern web applications and websites.
You will work across the stack using **React, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB, and contribute to building clean, responsive UIs with modern libraries.** You’ll also support deployments and cloud infrastructure on AWS, collaborate with UI/UX and product teams, and help deliver scalable, secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications and websites using the MERN stack.
- Build reusable, responsive UI components using React, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, and Material UI.
- Create and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.
- Design and optimize MongoDB collections, queries, and performance.
- Integrate frontend with backend APIs and third-party services.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS (as per project needs).
- Use Git for version control and collaborate via code reviews and branching strategies.
- Debug, test, and optimize performance across browsers and devices.
- Follow secure coding practices and ensure application stability and scalability.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and project managers to translate designs into production-ready features.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack development (preferred).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and MERN stack:
• React.js, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB (NextJS, TypeScript.)
- Solid experience with modern UI development:
- Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Material UI (or similar UI libraries)
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Familiarity with AWS (deployment, hosting, storage, CDN, etc.).
- Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to performance and clean code.
Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)
- Experience with React Native (mobile app development).
- Familiarity with TypeScript.
- Experience with Next.js.
- Testing tools: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Pay: Up to AED5,500.00 per month
