Role overview

HL Tech India Private Limited is hiring a MERN Stack Developer Intern for hands-on web development on real-world projects.

The ideal candidate can write and debug code and has practical experience building projects with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.

Freshers or candidates with 0–1 year of experience are invited to apply; earliest joining is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain MERN web applications and build responsive interfaces with React.js.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js; integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.
  • Use MongoDB for database design, queries, and data management.
  • Debug, test, and optimize applications; write clean, reusable, maintainable code.
  • Collaborate with developers, UI/UX designers, and other team members; participate in code reviews.
  • Work on real-world client and internal projects under senior developer guidance.

Required skills

  • Hands-on React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB experience, with a good understanding of JavaScript ES6+.
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, REST APIs, API integration, Git, GitHub, and database concepts.
  • Problem-solving and debugging skills; ability to understand existing code and work on ongoing projects.
  • Good communication and willingness to learn.

Additional skills

  • Redux or Redux Toolkit, TypeScript, JWT authentication and authorization, third-party APIs, and basic deployment and hosting knowledge are good to have.
  • Experience with live or academic MERN projects is also listed as good to have.

Eligibility

  • Candidates with B.Tech, B.E., BCA, MCA, B.Sc. IT/CS, or relevant technical skills are eligible.
  • Freshers with strong practical knowledge and personal or academic projects can apply.
  • Hands-on MERN project experience and immediate availability are preferred.

Internship details

  • Internship duration is 3–6 months.
  • The role is an immediate-hiring opportunity; candidates available to join early are preferred.

Stipend and opportunity

  • Stipend is ₹3,000–₹5,000 per month.
  • The internship offers practical software development experience and exposure to client-based projects.
  • A full-time position may be possible depending on performance and business requirements.
