About This Role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable web applications using Next.js and React for the front-end and various back-end technologies, with a strong focus on API development.
- Develop and manage MS SQL and Mongo DB including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and other web services.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire application stack.
- Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices in web development.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
- Work effectively in an onsite team environment in Abu Dhabi.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Proven experience with front-end development using React and Next.js.
- Strong proficiency in back-end development and API design and implementation.
- Extensive experience working with MS SQL and Mongo DB databases including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and database optimization.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an onsite environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other front-end frameworks or libraries.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
