QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to follow company customer service procedures
- Demonstrated prior customer service skills or related experience
- Ability to interact with customers and co-workers
- Ability to work independently and understand and follow instructions
- Ability to train and direct employees
- Access to a reliable vehicle to perform competitor Price Surveys (twice a day)
- Ability to provide proof of auto insurance based on division requirements
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Provide customer service as defined by the employer within the scope of the position & within company policy
- Assists in the implementation of policies for operating Fuel Stations
- Changes signs and prices as directed by merchandising
- Inventories stock daily. Writes fuel station order. Checks for completeness of order upon arrival
- Receives gas deliveries as needed. Records fuel deliveries on Fuel Delivery sheet
- Maintains cleanliness of fuel station area
- Performs daily safety inspections of tanks and pumps, checking gaskets, cover lock etc.
- May pump gasoline for customers
- Transports absorbent material to drive up area to absorb and clean spills as needed
- Restocks windshield washer fluid in pump side containers as needed
- Rotates product and removes out of date product as needed
- May pick up products in grocery store as needed and transport to Fuel Station area
- Other duties as assigned
- Directs fuel station clerks
- Perform necessary activities to ensure all City, State, and Local Environmental Compliance requirements are being met: Clean tank Area (spill containers, fill and vapor recovery caps), and inspect dispenser area (decals and signage, hose, breakaways, nozzles, etc...)
