Job Skills / Requirements

  • Per Mar Security Services is seeking a full-time security officer for assignment in Dubuque, Iowa. Hours: Overnight shift Friday-Monday. $20 per hour plus overtime. Please be advised, this is a temporary account, the duration of which is unknown at this time.

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Possess a valid drivers license, with no disqualifying violations on a motor vehicle report within the last 5 years.
  • Consent to a pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle check, and criminal background check.
  • Meet eligibility requirements for a state security license. We will assist in obtaining one for those that qualify.

Job Duties

  • Conduct mobile rounds at client's business site to deter and prevent trespassing and theft.
  • Ensure that only those that are authorized to do so, remove property from site.
  • Please note: All new hires will be required to travel to our corporate location in Davenport, IA for a 1-day orientation and training.
  • This is a Temporary / Seasonal position
  • Travel is not required
