- **To oversee day-to-day agricultural operations across fruit-growing sites in the UAE, including mango, citrus, grapes, guava, and tropical varieties. The role is responsible for supervising farm workers, ensuring crop health and quality, coordinating irrigation and fertigation, and delivering timely weekly reports to management. The successful candidate will thrive in an outdoor, physically demanding environment in a hot-arid climate.**
- To supervise and coordinate daily activities of farm workers across all assigned sites.
- Monitor crop growth stages, health, and development across fruit varieties (mango, citrus, grapes, guava, tropical fruits, stone fruits).
- Oversee irrigation, fertigation, and fertilizer programs aligned with each crop stage and season.
- Organize and carry out pruning, weeding, basin cleaning, pest scouting, and other cultural practices.
- Implement integrated pest and disease management (IPM) protocols; apply and record pesticide/herbicide treatments.
- Coordinate harvest scheduling, fruit handling, and post-harvest activities to minimize losses.
- Maintain accurate daily and weekly records of farm activities, yields, and observations; prepare structured reports for management.
- Ensure proper upkeep of irrigation systems, shade nets, net houses, and farm infrastructure.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate farm workers; enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards on-site. Liaise with the Farm Manager to plan seasonal activities and respond to weather or crop emergencies.
**Qualifications & Experience**
- **Experience in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field (preferred).**
- Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience in fruit farming or horticulture.
- **Hands-on experience with tropical/subtropical fruit crops.**
- Familiarity with drip irrigation and fertigation systems. **Experience working in arid or semi-arid climates (GCC experience a strong advantage).**
Skills & Competencies
- **Strong knowledge of fruit crop agronomy and seasonality.**
- Ability to identify pests, diseases, and nutritional deficiencies.
- **Leadership and team management with a multicultural workforce.**
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently in the field.
- Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
