Front End Developer

Role summary

Responsibilities

• Design responsive, accessible portal interfaces and build front-end applications with React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Develop and integrate APIs and backend services; configure AEM components, templates, and content workflows.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, business analysts, and product owners to translate requirements into solutions.
• Implement authentication, customer profiles, forms, notifications, and self-service features.
• Ensure accessibility and security practices; participate in Agile ceremonies, planning, estimation, and code reviews.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production deployments.

Required skills

• React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, responsive design, and Redux or Context API.
• REST APIs and JSON integration; cross-browser compatibility and WCAG accessibility.
• AEM Sites, components, templates, Experience Fragments, HTL/Sightly, content authoring, and workflow management.
• Git, Azure DevOps or GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress.

Preferred experience and strengths

• Docker is desirable.
• Customer portal, self-service platform, or member-facing application experience is preferred.
• Privacy, security, and regulated-industry compliance knowledge is preferred; CRM, identity management, and customer communication integrations are also preferred.
• Stakeholder communication, cross-functional teamwork, problem-solving, customer focus, and Agile/Scrum experience are sought.

Pay

• Pay starts at $120,000 per year.
