Front-End Developer - React.js & React Native

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications with React.js and cross-platform iOS and Android apps with React Native.
• Customize or build backend systems, publish APIs, and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Implement Figma designs as responsive, reusable React components and create basic wireframes or prototypes when required.
• Improve performance, responsiveness, and reliability; investigate UI inconsistencies, crashes, and production issues.
• Use debugging tools including Chrome DevTools, React DevTools, Flipper, Sentry, and Crashlytics.
• Collaborate with backend developers and designers, participate in code reviews, and maintain documented, scalable code.
• Assist with deployment and publishing to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Enable or extend AI/ML features in existing apps.

Qualifications and experience

• Degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience; 3 years each in React Native, frontend, React framework, and JavaScript are specified as required.
• 2 years of backend integration and TypeScript experience and 3 years of RESTful API experience are specified as required.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, UI/UX principles, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience developing, testing, and debugging across multiple platforms.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React.js, React Native, HTML, CSS, responsive design, and Flexbox.
• State management experience with Redux/Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Context API is listed as a qualification.
• Figma design interpretation and Git-based collaborative development experience are requested; tools may include GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Teamwork and communication skills.

Additional skills

• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
• App Store and Google Play deployment or publishing experience.

Compensation

• Salary is AED 4,000–5,000 per month.
