About This Role
Overview
We are seeking a Frontend Developer with experience in the hospitality industry to build and optimize high-performing, user-friendly web applications.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing hotel/resort websites, booking engines, or travel platforms, with a strong focus on user experience, performance, and conversion optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
- Build modern UI components using React.js / Angular / Vue.js
- Optimize hotel websites, booking engines, and landing pages for direct bookings and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to implement UI/UX design, mobile-first design, and cross-browser compatibility
- Integrate RESTful APIs, including booking systems, payment gateways, and third-party hospitality platforms (OTAs)
- Improve website performance, page speed, and SEO optimization
- Ensure web accessibility (WCAG) and best practices in frontend development
- Work within Agile/Scrum environments and use Git version control
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in frontend development / web development
- Proven experience in hospitality, travel, hotel, or tourism platforms
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
- Experience with booking engines, CMS platforms, or hotel websites
- Knowledge of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile optimization
- Experience with API integration (REST, JSON, AJAX)
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and web performance optimization
- Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, or Nuxt.js
- Familiarity with hospitality systems, OTAs (Booking.com, Expedia)
- Knowledge of CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap)
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress)
- Basic understanding of backend technologies (Node.js)
