Front Desk Receptionist

The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for Bitner Henry Insurance Agency, delivering professional, welcoming experience to clients, carrier representatives, and visitors. This role combines client-facing reception duties with day-to-day administrative support that keeps the office organized and responsive. Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

0–3 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative role.

Professional verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfort learning new software (e.g., agency management systems such as Applied Epic).

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to handle sensitive client information with discretion and confidentiality.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in insurance, financial services, legal, or another professional services environment.

Familiarity with multi-line phone systems.

Exposure to document management or scanning workflows.

Standard in-office role; Monday–Friday 8:30 AM-5 PM

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Occasional lifting of office supplies or mail packages up to 25 lbs.

Professional office dress code.
