  • Complete tasks from providers such as scheduling follow-up appointments, requesting information, and sending faxes.
  • Approve online appointment requests from patients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical record including the patient chart.
  • Process new patient intake forms.

  • Previous reception experience considered an asset.

Hours and Compensation

  • 30-35 hours per week.
  • $22-$25 per hour based on experience.
  • In-person 2 to 3 days per week at clinic locations plus virtual support.

Location

  • Must reside in the Kootenays.

  • Castlegar site (some shifts): Circle of Indigenous Nations, 1801 Connors Rd, Castlegar, BC.

About the Clinic

The clinic operates as a group practice where patients see the first available provider.

Providers manage 3-5 patients per hour with scheduling that allows a mix of complex and short visits.

Patients may transition to longitudinal care with the clinic's nurse practitioner or other clinics when available.
