Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and OPD consultations
  • Diagnose and manage common ophthalmic disorders
  • Prescribe medications, spectacles, and treatment plans
  • Perform routine ophthalmic procedures as per expertise
  • Counsel patients regarding eye health, treatment options, and preventive care
  • Coordinate with optometrists, technicians, and hospital staff
  • Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
  • Ensure high standards of patient care and clinical ethics

Skills Required

  • Strong clinical knowledge of Ophthalmology
  • Good communication and patient counselling skills
  • Ability to manage OPD independently under institutional guidance
  • Professional and patient-centric approach
