Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Fresh Graduate Accountant based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting and financial activities and should understand accounting principles and the full accounting cycle.
The role includes transaction recording, journal entries, accounting records, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
Daily Responsibilities
- Check invoices and supporting documents, record transactions, reconcile accounts, and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and maintain accurate, organized financial records.
- Assist with financial reports, monitor expenses, and support monthly closing activities.
- Coordinate with management and other departments on financial and accounting matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and the full accounting cycle.
- Basic knowledge of journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- Ability to maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records.
- Understanding of invoices, receipts, expenses, payments, and supporting financial documents.
- Basic knowledge of financial statements and accounting reports.
- Microsoft Excel proficiency, including basic formulas and data organization.
- Accounting software or ERP familiarity is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good English communication; Arabic is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate with management and different departments.
