Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Freight Manager at our Dubai, U.A.E. office. The Freight Manager will oversee the coordination of air, ocean, and road freight operations, ensuring timely and efficient import and export activities. Day-to-day tasks include Full P&L responsibility, managing customer inquiries, facilitating shipments, developing logistics strategies, developing new routes, and ensuring compliance with regulations.The role will require effective customer service support and collaboration with internal teams as well as global partners to optimize logistics processes and deliver superior service.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in managing Freight operations and logistics strategies.
- Strong full P&L understanding.
- Expertise in handling Import and Export processes with knowledge of regional and international shipping regulations.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in freight services and understanding of multi-modal transportation.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in logistics softwares and data analysis tools is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and multicultural environment.
- Minimum of 7 years experience in similar role.
- Must possess an active and verifiable portfolio of clients.
