Main responsibilities
- Arrange and book international air, sea, and land shipments.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, freight agents, and trucking companies.
- Prepare Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Coordinate customs clearance with external customs brokers.
- Track shipments from origin to final destination and update customers on status and delivery schedules.
- Request supplier freight rates and prepare customer quotations.
- Handle delays, documentation issues, and operational problems; maintain accurate shipment records.
Required experience and qualifications
- At least 5 years in freight forwarding or logistics.
- Experience with international shipping documentation and customs procedures.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, import/export regulations, and freight quotations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- English is required.
Pay
- QAR 3,400–5,000 per month.
