About This Role
Overview
We are looking for an experienced and creative Freelance Hair Colorist to work with our salon on a flexible, project‑based basis.
The ideal candidate has strong technical skills in modern coloring techniques and a passion for delivering high‑quality results.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional hair coloring services, including full color, root touch‑ups, highlights, balayage, ombré, color correction, and toning
- Conduct client consultations to assess hair condition, color history, and desired results
- Recommend suitable color formulas, treatments, and aftercare
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and product usage
- Work collaboratively with the salon team to ensure excellent client experience
- Manage your own schedule and availability as a freelancer
Requirements
- Proven experience as a hair colorist (portfolio required)
- Strong knowledge of color theory, mixing, and application techniques
- Ability to perform color corrections confidently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must bring own tools (optional depending on your salon)
- Valid license or certification in hairdressing
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month
