Role Description
The Videographer role at The Filmers Media is a full-time, or even freelance on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
In this role, the Videographer plans and executes video shoots, operates cameras and related equipment, and collaborates with the creative team to bring concepts to life.
Day-to-day tasks include setting up lighting and audio, capturing high-quality footage across various projects (commercials, corporate videos, events, social media content), and ensuring consistency with brand and project goals.
The Videographer works closely with directors, producers, and editors to review and organize footage, contribute to shot lists and storyboards, and maintain equipment in optimal working condition.
The videographer must also have knowledge of video editing.
Qualifications
- Strong video production skills, including experience with shooting video across multiple formats and environments.
- Proficient camera operation skills, including use of professional cameras and related camera gear.
- Solid understanding of lighting techniques for indoor and outdoor shoots, with the ability to create desired visual moods.
- Ability to manage on-set shooting tasks, including framing, composition, and basic audio capture.
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is highly beneficial.
- Creative storytelling mindset, with an eye for detail, visual composition, and brand alignment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media production, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
