Role Description

We are seeking a Freelance Therapist based in the UAE for a remote part-time role.

Responsibilities

include conducting therapy sessions via video calls and other digital platforms, creating personalized treatment plans, and utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods tailored to individual client needs.

The role also involves maintaining client confidentiality, documenting session notes, and adhering to professional ethical standards.

Candidates should demonstrate empathy, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

  • Licensure or certification as a Psychologist, Counselor, Therapist, or in a similar mental health profession
  • Proficiency in providing therapy for individuals, couples, families, or children
  • Experience in creating client-centered treatment plans and implementing evidence-based therapeutic approaches
  • Excellent communication, active listening skills, and cultural competence to work with diverse populations
  • Ability to use digital tools for secure video calls and app-based counseling
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in regional languages is a plus
  • Familiarity with workplace mental health programs and self-help resources is an advantage
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is preferred
