Overview
British Dance Academy is seeking a creative, confident and social-media–savvy female content creator to join our vibrant and welcoming dance community on a freelance or part-time basis.
About the Role
This role focuses on creating engaging social media content that captures the energy, personality, and strong sense of community within British Dance Academy.
The position is for approximately **15 hours per week**, primarily **during class times**, to film and prepare content on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Film/photograph content during classes and academy activities
- Create and edit Instagram Reels
- Post Instagram and Facebook Stories
- Publish Instagram and Facebook photo posts
- Interact with students, clients and staff during content creation
- Highlight the positive and inclusive community of British Dance Academy
- Develop and implement a content strategy covering educational, entertainment and advertising content
What We’re Looking For
- Up-to-date knowledge of current social media trends and platform best practices
- Highly creative with a strong eye for engaging and fun content
- Takes initiative and works independently, leading content ideas from concept to execution
- Confident in leading content direction and bringing new ideas forward
- Passion for creating content that connects with audiences and reflects a strong community culture
- Comfortable working in a busy, people-focused environment
- Must have the legal right to work independently and hold their own valid visa (if applicable)
