Accountabilities
- Write and produce high-quality gaming content including news articles, features, and list-based pieces
- Research gaming topics thoroughly to ensure accuracy, depth, and relevance
- Cover a wide range of subjects including game releases, industry news, and gaming culture
- Develop original story ideas and pitch engaging content concepts
- Optimize content for SEO while maintaining readability and editorial quality
- Ensure all content is clean, publish-ready, and meets editorial standards
- Work independently while managing deadlines and content schedules effectively
- Stay updated on gaming trends, communities, and industry developments
Requirements
- Strong passion for video games and the gaming industry
- Proven experience writing for digital publications, blogs, or similar platforms
- Excellent writing, grammar, and proofreading skills
- Ability to produce clear, engaging, and audience-friendly content
- Strong research skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with SEO writing and keyword optimization (preferred)
- Understanding of gaming trends, franchises, and industry landscape
- Experience using CMS platforms is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines
- Strong self-motivation with a performance-driven mindset focused on results
- Familiarity with gaming communities and social media trends is a plus
