Freelance Senior Copywriter role for a two-to-three-month project, working from the client’s office.
Develop copy across digital platforms including social media, newsletters, websites, and advertising, while leading and mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Write persuasive original copy for diverse audiences and platforms; align messaging with client objectives in collaboration with creative teams.
- Develop and adapt content from briefs, user insights, and market analysis; create and oversee social video scripts, blogs, newsletters, and email campaigns.
- Establish and refine brand voice and tone guidelines; proofread and edit copy and give team feedback.
- Follow digital trends and content strategies; manage multiple projects and deliver quality work on time.
- Lead and mentor junior team members.
Essentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least five years of copywriting experience, particularly in digital or social media.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic; strong writing and editing skills.
- Knowledge of social platforms and audience engagement; ability to adapt style across brands and demographics.
- Careful attention to grammar, punctuation, detail, and brand consistency.
Additional pluses
- Experience with emerging digital trends and online creator collaborations is a plus.
- Google Docs or other content management systems experience is a plus.
- Interpersonal skills, mentorship, and lasting client relationships are pluses.
