Role Description
This is a Part-time, role for a Freelance ELV Draftsman, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role involves creating detailed ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) system drawings and designs using CAD software.
Responsibilities
include coordinating with engineering teams, interpreting project specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and regularly updating technical documentation.
The draftsman will also assist in on-site inspections and provide technical support when required.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, drafting, and designing ELV systems
- Experience with reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of ELV systems, including but not limited to CCTV, access control, and structured cabling
- Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and project teams
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to quality work output
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to ELV systems
- Previous experience in a similar role; a degree or certification in engineering, drafting, or related fields is preferred
- Familiarity with on-site environments and the ability to adapt to project-specific requirements is an advantage
