Role Description
The Freelance Business Analyst will work on-site in Riyadh in a contract capacity, collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear requirements and actionable solutions.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting stakeholder interviews, documenting processes, gathering and analyzing data, and preparing business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
The role involves mapping current and future-state workflows, identifying gaps and optimization opportunities, and supporting solution design in partnership with project managers, developers, and other team members.
The Business Analyst will also contribute to test planning, support user acceptance testing, and help prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and client use.
The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between business and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
- Experience with stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Competence in data analysis, reporting, and the use of productivity tools (e.g., Excel, collaboration platforms, and presentation software).
- Familiarity with project management practices, SDLC or agile methodologies, and working within cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within IT, digital solutions, or event technology projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Riyadh, manage multiple priorities, and deliver within agreed timelines as a contractor.
- Knowledge of SMEs’ operational challenges and digital transformation initiatives is a plus.
