Nimish Padia Law & Advisory seeks a Freelance Legal Assistant fluent in Arabic and English with UAE legal drafting, research, and court-documentation experience.
The role supports legal matters primarily involving Dubai Courts and other UAE judicial authorities.
Responsibilities
- Draft Arabic legal memoranda, statements of claim, defence memoranda, appeals, replies, and court submissions.
- Research UAE laws, regulations, judgments, court precedents, and legal provisions.
- Prepare Arabic legal notices, applications, petitions, and other documents.
- Review and translate legal documents between Arabic and English while maintaining legal accuracy.
- Support litigation by preparing legal arguments and supporting documentation.
- Handle other legal drafting and research assignments as needed.
Requirements
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English is mandatory.
- Strong Arabic legal drafting skills, especially for UAE court submissions.
- Familiarity with UAE laws, court procedures, and legal terminology.
- Ability to conduct independent legal research and prepare structured legal documents.
- Attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Previous experience with UAE law firms, legal consultants, or litigation teams is preferred.
- Experience with Dubai Courts, Abu Dhabi Courts, or other UAE judicial systems is an advantage.
Engagement terms
- Freelance engagement on a project-to-project basis, with no fixed monthly commitment.
- Compensation is agreed separately for each assignment based on scope and complexity.
- Potential for regular assignments depends on performance and availability.
Work arrangement
- Remote working arrangements are acceptable.
