Fraud Data Analyst - SAS and SQL

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, support, and execute fraud attack treatment processes with Operations, Policy, and Analytics.
• Support business analysis and workflow requirements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Represent the team on projects and analyze operational processes with partners.
• Define analysis requirements and validate reporting metrics and calculations.
• Collaborate across functions to create and implement analysis updates.
• Communicate with stakeholders and provide fact-based advice and counsel.
• Assess reporting efficiency and suggest improvements; mentor lower-level analysts.
• Bridge business users and technologists, translating business needs to guide projects.
• Design and analyze moderately complex management reports.

Qualifications and education

• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• SAS and SQL skills are required.
• Knowledge of Citi Cards or Retail Fraud processes and terminology is preferred, but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills to analyze and troubleshoot reports and data for accuracy.
• Tableau and COGNOS reporting experience is preferred, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting across organizational levels.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
