Join the Operations team as a detail-focused Fraud Analyst.
Identify and assess suspicious activity while working with financial institutions, internal teams, and customers to investigate and resolve fraud matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate suspected fraud and identify red flags in customer and transaction information.
- Verify information with customers and financial institutions by phone.
- Gather investigation information from banks, lenders, and other institutions.
- Apply lending knowledge to assess unusual transactions and customer behaviour.
- Document findings and maintain thorough case records.
- Identify process and control improvements.
- Work adaptably as team processes evolve.
About You
- Require 3+ years of experience in fraud, financial crime, banking, or a related field.
- Require knowledge of AML laws and regulations.
- Require strong attention to detail, problem solving, and an investigative mindset.
- Require confidence handling calls with financial institutions.
- A lending background is preferred.
- Require adaptability and a focus on process improvement in a growing team.
