FP&A Technical Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Administer OneStream, including user support, metadata maintenance, security coordination, workflow administration, data validation, and ongoing enhancements.
• Implement OneStream functionality for forecasting, annual and long-range planning, outlook updates, reporting, and management analysis.
• Translate FP&A requirements into system solutions; work with Finance, IT, and external partners to design, test, deploy, and document enhancements.
• Prepare financial reports, planning templates, dashboards, variance analysis, and leadership materials.
• Analyze financial results, forecasts, and business trends to identify drivers, risks, opportunities, and insights.
• Partner with functional leaders and finance partners to understand performance, financial outlook, and business needs.
• Develop financial models, reporting tools, and analytical outputs that improve forecasting, scenario planning, and business insight.
• Automate reporting and analysis, reduce manual work, improve data quality, and increase FP&A process effectiveness.
• Promote practical AI, automation, and emerging-technology use cases in FP&A.
• Maintain process documentation, user guides, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
• Support data governance, reporting standards, and financial process controls.
• Participate in ad hoc analysis, special projects, finance transformation, and other initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, information systems, business analytics, economics, or a related field required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial systems, business analytics, or related roles.
• Experience with financial planning, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and management reporting required.
• OneStream or equivalent financial planning, consolidation, or enterprise performance management platform experience preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude, including learning systems, troubleshooting, documenting requirements, and translating business needs into solutions.

Location and schedule

• Based at the company’s downtown Milwaukee headquarters.
• Hybrid schedule: onsite Monday through Thursday and remote on Fridays.
