What you will do
- Own the monthly FP&A deliverables cycle, ensuring timely, accurate, high-quality outputs
- Provide commercial insight through variance, trend, and performance analysis to support executive decisions
- Strengthen cost management processes and reporting, partnering with senior stakeholders to improve accountability and financial outcomes
- Lead strategic planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis to support proactive risk and opportunity management
- Support business cases and track productivity program costs and benefits
- Drive process improvement through BI, automation, and better data-driven decision-making
- Build strong relationships across Finance and the business to influence outcomes
- Coach and develop junior team members and support ad hoc analysis and strategic initiatives
About you
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- CPA / CA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
- 5–7 years’ experience in FP&A, commercial finance, cost management, or management accounting, with insurance industry experience essential
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience in forecasting, planning, variance analysis, and cost management
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong systems and data capability, including advanced Excel and financial modelling; TM1, PeopleSoft GL, Alteryx, and Power BI preferred
