Role overview

What you’ll be doing

• Prepare precise and timely monthly management accounts and conduct variance analysis against budget.
• Calculate and understand accruals, prepayments, allocations, and payroll for accurate financial recording.
• Feed into the cash-flow forecast to support effective financial planning.
• Contribute to current-state and future-state process design for continuous improvement.
• Promote cost awareness and adherence to control, sign-off, and authorization procedures.
• Undertake project work to enhance financial processes.

What the role requires

• Good GCSEs in Maths and English and/or A levels, NVQ, or equivalent qualifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to build internal and external relationships.
• Ability to continuously improve processes and identify enhancement opportunities.
• Collaborative team player with a hands-on approach.
• Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and OneNote.
• Outstanding attention to detail.

Desirable qualifications and experience

• Part-qualified AAT is desirable.
• Some experience working in or with finance is desirable.
