FP&A Analyst

Role overview

Budgeting and forecasting

• Maintain, drive, and continuously improve forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Support quarterly forecasts and the Annual Operating Plan; partner with budget owners on bottom-up revenue, COGS, SG&A, and CapEx detail and assumptions.
• Build and modify reporting and dashboards in Workday Adaptive to meet business needs.

Close, reporting, and performance management

• Assist with month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes and ensure transactions comply with GAAP.
• Analyze actual-versus-budget/forecast variances and reconcile internal accounts.
• Create and present monthly, quarterly, and annual results reporting and summary packages for department heads.
• Support financial reviews with functional leaders and budget owners; prepare materials for management meetings.

Decision support

• Prepare and maintain complex financial models for strategic initiative decisions.
• Provide ad hoc analytical and strategic support to the FP&A Manager and other business leaders.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Two to four years of progressive FP&A, business analysis, or corporate accounting experience.
• Consumer applications or SaaS analysis/reporting experience is strongly preferred.
• Expert knowledge of financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and corporate finance; subscriptions-business experience is preferred.

Tools and working skills

• Strong experience with Excel and PowerPoint, or equivalent Google Suite tools.
• Detailed ERP experience, such as Workday Adaptive Insights for financial planning.
• Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, problem-solving, effective communication, relationship building, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Balancing strategic thinking with detailed execution is highly desirable.

Compensation

• The stated estimated salary range is $70,000–$100,000; actual compensation depends on candidate skills, qualifications, and experience.
