• I’m looking for a founding engineer/CTO with deep experience in robotics and AI to build the standard layer for robot operations.

• Technical requirements
• Deep experience with ROS (preference on ROS2), including building and debugging distributed robot systems
• Strong programming skills in Python plus C++ or Rust (you’ve shipped production systems, not just prototypes)
• Strong modern AI skills - you can use Cursor/Claude to be 10x more efficient at pushing code.
• Experience working with real robot hardware, not just simulation
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and system architecture (you’ve designed systems that coordinate multiple services, devices, or nodes)
• Experience building data pipelines for robotics or sensor-heavy systems (video, LiDAR, telemetry, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with applied machine learning (computer vision, perception, or decision systems)
• Experience collecting, labeling, and iterating on real-world datasets, not just training on clean benchmarks
• Comfortable working across edge and cloud environments (AWS, on-device compute, APIs, backend infrastructure)
• Strong debugging skills across the full stack, from robot to backend
