Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Foundation Construction Project Manager role based in Dubai.
The Foundation Construction Project Manager will oversee all phases of foundation works, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and on-site execution for complex lifting and construction projects.
Responsibilities
include coordinating with engineering, procurement, and site teams; managing contractors and subcontractors; and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
The role involves reviewing technical drawings and method statements, preparing progress reports, and proactively addressing risks, delays, and design issues.
The Project Manager will also liaise with clients and stakeholders, support tendering and cost control activities, and drive continuous improvement in construction methods and project delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management for foundation and civil construction projects.
- Proven experience coordinating on-site activities, supervising contractors, and enforcing safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on construction sites.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and civil drawings, geotechnical reports, and technical specifications related to foundations.
- Effective stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Solid understanding of heavy lifting, transport interfaces, and equipment coordination within foundation or infrastructure projects (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., PMP, equivalent) are an advantage.
- Proficiency with project management and MS Office tools; familiarity with construction planning software is beneficial.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
- Previous experience in Dubai or the broader GCC region and knowledge of local construction standards and regulations are desirable.
