What you’ll do
- Translate complex business and product problems into technical solutions; rapidly prototype, build, and deploy production-quality applications and integrations.
- Own delivery from discovery and technical design through development, deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement, working close to the problem with embedded teams.
- Integrate applications with platforms, APIs, data sources, and enterprise systems, and develop reusable components, services, and patterns.
- Work across coding, testing, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and production support; diagnose and resolve live-environment issues.
- Partner with architecture, security, platform, and infrastructure teams to meet enterprise standards.
- Use data, experimentation, and user feedback to iterate; explore AI and GenAI business applications; document and share reusable learnings.
Engineering qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience; the posting also labels the role Associate level.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and production-application experience, with proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, or C#.
- Strong proficiency in AI/ML, GenAI, LLM applications, AI agents, and data engineering or analytics.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems; understanding of databases, data structures, and system integration.
- Experience with cloud technologies, preferably GCP, AWS, or Azure; Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and modern software practices.
- Understanding of observability, logging, monitoring, and production troubleshooting; experience with containers or Kubernetes.
Forward deployment approach
- Comfort turning loosely defined problems into working solutions and moving quickly from discovery and prototyping to production engineering.
- Strong customer and stakeholder orientation, including work with senior business and technical stakeholders and clear explanations for non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging; pragmatic choices about speed, scale, and reuse; ownership for outcomes beyond technical deliverables.
Advantageous experience
- Cloud-native application development, API and platform integration, DevOps/SRE, financial services or other regulated environments, enterprise transformation, and rapid prototyping or innovation engineering are valuable.
