Required qualifications
- Spec and onshore build: 7+ years of software engineering; offshore build: 4+ years. Strong Python; working knowledge of TypeScript or Java is a plus. Hands-on experience building LLM applications: prompt engineering, tool use or agents, evaluation, RAG, and vector search. Experience with document processing: OCR, layout-aware parsing, classification and structured extraction. Solid API and integration skills (REST, event-driven patterns) and cloud deployment on AWS, Azure or GCP. CI/CD, containerization and infrastructure-as-code experience. Spec FDEs specifically: proven ability to prototype quickly and work directly with business users. Preferred Experience with LLM gateway or proxy tooling and multi-provider model routing. Insurance, financial services or other document-heavy regulated domains. Experience with knowledge graphs, entity resolution or temporal data models. NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role will depend on the nature of the role offered and will either be [$155,700 - $259,500], or [$80-$100] if the role is hired as a temporary position. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. If the position offered in temporary, the position will not be eligible for incentive compensation.
