Role overview

Forklift operations and warehouse support

• Operate forklifts safely for loading, unloading, lifting, stacking, and transporting materials.
• Move raw materials, lubricant drums, finished products, pallets, and packaging to designated locations; load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Stack and arrange materials for safe access and efficient storage; keep loads stable, balanced, and within rated capacity.
• Support warehouse material movement, storage, stock handling, and dispatch activities under supervisor direction.
• Handle materials carefully to prevent damage, leakage, or loss and maintain clear access to aisles, emergency exits, fire extinguishers, and safety equipment.

Safety and compliance

• Inspect brakes, tyres, forks, steering, horn, lights, and warning devices before operation; promptly report defects, leaks, unsafe conditions, and malfunctions.
• Wear required PPE and follow company HSE policies, UAE safety requirements, site traffic rules, and designated pedestrian routes.
• Do not exceed rated load capacity, operate at unsafe speeds, carry unauthorised passengers, or allow unauthorised or unlicensed operators.
• Follow procedures for lubricant drums and materials with possible spill or fire hazards; report spills, leaks, incidents, and unsafe conditions.
• Do not use a mobile phone while operating or operate equipment while fatigued or unfit for duty.

Maintenance, records, and reporting

• Keep the forklift clean and in working condition; report maintenance needs promptly.
• After use, park in the designated area, lower the forks, apply the parking brake, and switch off the engine.
• Keep warehouse and loading areas clean and unobstructed.
• Maintain inspection checklists and operating records; report damaged goods, discrepancies, accidents, near misses, and unsafe practices.
• Assist with stock movement records and dispatch documents when required; cooperate with safety inspections, training, and toolbox talks.

Qualifications and experience

• Valid and appropriate UAE forklift operator licence or competency certification, as applicable.
• High school education or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous forklift experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment is preferred.
• Experience handling pallets, drums, and industrial materials is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety and material-handling procedures; ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records.

Skills and competencies

• Safe forklift operation and load-handling skills; awareness of warehouse traffic and pedestrian safety.
• Communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and care in handling materials.
• Ability to follow HSE instructions and emergency procedures and act responsibly toward equipment and company property.

Compensation

• Pay stated as AED 1,000–2,000 per month.
