We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to handle the movement, loading, and unloading of materials within the warehouse or production facility.
The ideal candidate will ensure efficient operations while maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, move, and stack products and materials
- Transport goods to designated storage areas or production lines
- Inspect forklifts before use and report any maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts
- Ensure proper handling and storage of goods to prevent damage
- Follow company safety procedures and workplace regulations
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Supports warehouse activities including packing and stacking materials.
Requirements
- Valid forklift operator certification/license
- Proven experience as a forklift operator or in a similar role
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and safety practices
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment
- Basic math and record-keeping skills
- Attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility
